John 00 Fleming - The Lost Tribe (Artist Album) [JOOF]

I'll believe it when I see it. Blondie told me 4+ years ago his part was done, yet we still have no news or previews.

Ferry Corsten & SUPERSTRINGS - Remember (Sped Up) [Flashover Recordings]

What the hell?! If Ferry really wanted to make a statement, he should have released the original at 146, not this simple and useless cash grab. Nevertheless, I love the original mix and I will Sped Up that version in my mixes thank you very much!

    Sebastian Brandt - ID [TBA]

I doubt a bunch of nerds and old timers like ourselves on a small forum led to Brandt being obsessed with quality. Every time I ask Peter about the track, he keeps on saying the same thing: Brandt is a perfectionist, and can't figure out how to put the finishing touches.

    Hoopoe - Mindfield [Hedjog Records]

Damn, this track came out of left field! Reminds me a lot of early 2000s prog trancers from the likes of Hiver & Hammer, Benz & MD, and so on. Dark, groovy, hypnotic, mid 130s tempo. Curious to hear what the album has to offer

Aly & Fila with Omar Sherif & Susie Ledge - You Can Count On Me [FSOE]

Heard this one in the recent A&F OTC in Holland, the instrumental is extremely enjoyable. The plucky, acid piano melody is a winner for me. +1 for the Rapid-Eye mix-in at the end there hehe.

Andrea Ribeca - Around You [FSOE]

Always loved those huge leads in Nu NRG, and Andrea has constantly managed to recreate the spirit and emotions very well. Not that keen on the climax though, it kinda goes in a Tempo Giusto tech/farty FX drop which doesn't work at all with the euphoric melody.

The Space Brothers feat. Sue McLaren - Way Back [Armada Captivating]

Sue McLaren is a perfect hit for a modern Space Brothers track. She always has a subdued voice, and her overall tone brings a lot of warmth, which is typical of SB records. I'd say this is a much better modernisation of a classic sound, unlike whatever we got in the past couple of years from...

Ferry Corsten - Connect (Artist Album) [Flashover]

I felt with Yes Man he made a strong return to his usual, experimental, trance that we all like from his early 2000s. It's a bit cheesy with the vocal sample, but the instrumental in itself is top notch. I guess Remember will also be on the album, and that makes 2 quality tracks already. I'm...

    AA Meeting - Supercell [VII]

What else is coming out on the 22nd? I sort of disconnected from new releases since I got back from Lumi, doing my best to catch up.

    AA Meeting - Supercell [VII]

I remember there were hints at an album, but in the beginning AA was supposed to be live project only. Now that Activa retired again from DJing, I guess there's a bigger impetus to turn the project into a more conventional one, and they have enough material for an album. You'd simply need a bit...

Ferry Corsten & SUPERSTRINGS - Remember [Flashover]

While I've always been picky on track/artist names and making sure we spell them as intended (It's M.I.K.E. not MIKE for example), can we please get back to talking about the track itself! I feel like the polemic is more around whether Ferry is comfortable with slapping his name next to some...

    Sebastian Brandt - ID [TBA]

I asked Peter after his set if there's any chance this gets a release finally and he said Brandt wants to, but is currently not happy with the result and that he wants to change a couple of elements.

Ralphie B & Frank Waanders Present Collide1 - Reach Out [Subculture]

Really like the melody! Somehow I have a feeling I heard it before though, unless this track was ID-ID for a long time in some sets ...

    Onova - Synchronicity [Borderline]

Lovely lovely lovely track! Energetic lead, yet at the same time infused with some melancholic elements. Nice and flowing progression in the melody as well, something we see so many artists fail at nowadays

Will Atkinson feat. La La Fiesta - Seatbelt [Armada]

Without all those stupid chicken-sounding noises, this would have been a relatively nice Drizzly throwback

    Yahel - Spacedew [Sol Music]

A follow-up to Devotion would fit perfectly on Borderline! As for this track. It's nice to still see Yahel not afraid to continue to experiment instead of sticking to the typical psy template. Love the tribal intro, drums, and spacey pads. Reminds people that psy is not necessarily about the...

Airwave - I’m Not Rank 1 [Airwave Music]

Lead is absolutely inspired by "modern" Rank 1. You can't make a track with that title and not trying to poke a bit of fun of Piet and Benno. Surprisingly, I track I can get behind after years of soulless music from Laurent

    Enigma State - Illuminate

I'm not sure why people are complaining about the vocal chops, we need more tracks with them not less. Early 2000s had amazing tracks from Orkidea, Andy Moor, BT featuring chops and they all sounded original and fresh because you can do so many spins on chops. Lead might be a bit your...

    Sebastian Brandt - ID [TBA]

I'm still torn as to which section I like best. Intro is pure Brandt filth - raw and gritty. Then Kandiman comes in and melts your heart away with one of the best piano pieces in years. We desperately need a release, it's sacrilege we can't hear this beauty in full!

Enigma State - The Moonman [TBA]

Perfectly nailed the Moonman sound! This is a great homage, can't wait to listen to a clean sample.
