Eco - The Book Of Life (Upcoming Artist Album)

Our old forums had a big thread with a lot of unreleased AP tracks being premiered in the 2016-2019 period, but we got no news for quite some time

Activa & Slipstream - Cassini [Pure Trance]

By the way, whoever did that ID (I assume Mac &Monday based on the synth) at 22:50 took the PVD kick from Out There and Back !!! The ID at 51m also sounds like M&M

Activa & Slipstream - Cassini [Pure Trance]

It's not just the breakdown, this track is a full throwback to late 90s Perfecto, the sound design screams Oakie from that period. Great piece overall I would say, it's definitely a proglifter type of track which means sadly it will not be get a lot of love because it has no drop ... Speaking...

Stoneface & Terminal & Robert Nickson - From The Sun [PURE TRANCE (BLACK HOLE)]

Armin totally hit it on the head with the Vangelis vibes, fantastic soundscape. I wonder if that atmospheric outro is also part of the track or if it was just an ambient piece played during the transition from the studio to the live audience

Eco - The Book Of Life (Upcoming Artist Album)

I will keep my expectations low until there's a confirmed release date. Not that I do not trust in Eco, I think he is a brilliant producer, but I do not want to be constantly disappointed because of delays, as is the case with the third chapter of the 00.db saga or the Astral Projection album...

OUT John Askew - Escapism [VII]

That staccata reminds me of Supersonic, and the breaks is a nice touch. It's more alligned with his earlier, stripped down and uplifting productions which is a nice change of pace. You can easily categorise all Askew productions as pre Smack remix and post Smack remix (with 95% of his material...

OUT The Digital Blonde - N3ON [JOOF Recordings]

Just giving this thread a bumb since I've had Aventador on repeat for the past hour. This track has some insane drive, especially once that synthwave riff comes into the climax. Also, the intro is very 00.db sounding, love the space vibes

OUT Ovnimoon & Pezze - Alma/Language Song (Ovnimoon Records)

Both tracks are fantastic, one rather liquid and relaxed, and the other full send from the master of goa!

OUT Activa - Origins (Artist Album) [Black Hole Recordings]

Just needed to add that Fade From View is one monster of a track. The version he played at Lumi (mixed in) was around 7 minutes long, so I expect the full mix to be close to 9 minutes of pure dark, gritty, space prog goodness!

OUT The Digital Blonde - N3ON [JOOF Recordings]

I think this album will feature a lot of play time from me, for the same reason why the Mirror's Edge Catalyst 5.5h OST does. It's a great journey that you can put in the background while working and just focus on the job at hand. Granted, Catalyst OST is by far the most ambitious and dare I...

OUT Activa - Origins (Artist Album) [Black Hole Recordings]

I'll be waiting for the vinyl release (which hopefully also has the extended mixes featured) but from all I have listened to so far I know I will love the album. Yes, it's not a forward looking record, but I think not every artist needs to do that all the time. I know what to expect from the...

OUT The Digital Blonde - N3ON [JOOF Recordings]

Album of the year hands down!! It's a lot more varied than past two incarnations of the synthwave sound. At first I was not big on that but after a couple of listens I'm starting to understand the reasons behind it. When tracks are this long, having 2.5h of the same sound might be great for...

    OUT Robert Vadney - Forever

Wow, love both tracks but Echoes of Life is something extra!

OUT Adam Ellis, Julia Ross, Sean Kennie - Voices With No Echoes [Outburst]

Really enjoyed the track, at least there's a lot more progression in this track than the new 5m something template driven releases we're inundated with on a daily basis. I have to say though that I was not expecting Adam to make music again given how verbal he was about the scene a few years...

OUT David Forbes & Paul Denton - Out Of Order (Alex Di Stefano Remix) [FSOE Clandestine]

I can't believe Alex did a somewhat back to techno roots track for once without his signature Push-sounding pads in the break!

OUT 4 Strings - Into Orbit [Carlo Resoort Records]

Really cool track, absolutely was not expecting something like this. Gotta say the track name for once is align with the sort of feeling the music portraits. I did feel like the intro was a countdown to a space launch, with the climax being the launch inself

Orjan Nilsen - Between The Rays (Orjan Nilsen Presents DJ Governor Remix) [Armada]

I quite enjoy the percussion, but everything else, from the edm clap, to the riser, to the intro, that weird outro, is just meh in the best of cases. At least the break stays faithful enough to the original spirit of the song, but why would I want to listen to this mediocre take when I can just...

Peter Steele - Creation [PURE TRANCE]

Love the intro and breakdown a lot more than the climax. I appreciate the stripped down take on things (much needed in today scene) and I simply love the atmosphere and Blade Runner soundscape. Nevertheless I think the track would benefit from just a bit more ommpf in the climax to make you...

OUT Activa & Jennifer Rene - Stranger [Black Hole Recordings]

Ouch, normally I'm a fan of Rene but in this one her voice simply doesn't work with the foundations of the track (although I do like how she sings Stranger). I think a dub with a bit more acid in the climax and a crescendo arpeggio could be one hell of a track though.

OUT Masters & Nickson ft. Justine Suissa - Out There (Sean Tyas Remix) [Who's Afraid Of 138?!]

Well, talk about a clusterfuck. I'll keep my feedback until I hear the final version, as at first I could not believe this was a Tyas remix.
