S.O.N.S - Time Echoes (Artist Album) [Junction Forest]

I like it. Maybe I can call it "Minimal Trance".

OUT Mikkel Rev - The Art of Levitation (Album) [A Strangely Isolated Place]

7.7/10 My friend @Sean Cong recently wanted to sell a vinyl of this album, so I gave it a full listen. It's a pretty cool album. "The Art of Levitation" is a huge progressive electronic track with pure trancey arps. Its layers and dynamics are so rich that even make me feel dazzled. 8.5/10 for...

Maara - Ultra Villain [NAFF] 2026.02.15

Lately I've been obsessed with Maara's music -- it carries a dark, psychedelic club atmosphere, deeply sensory and touched with a hint of mysticism. "Ultra Villain" is Maara's second personal album, released on February 5th this year. Its main sound leans toward pop-infused Trip-Hop, while also...

Starry Major - Shining Day [AVA Recordings]

Before you posted it, he himself hadn't gotten the preview from AVA yet. 🤣

Hypnotised: A Journey Through American Trance Music [1992 - 2002] [Black Hole Recordings]

No "Score" and "Neo (The One)", what a shame!

Old School/Classic Trance Producers in 2020 (and beyond)?

Me Too, but my favorite is "coded longling" (EP).

    "Zum" is my favorite.

Aerium Pres. Avalon 62 - Paracosm [Album] [TF Recordings]

After giving it 10+ listens, I feel it might be the best Trance Album after 2021. Many Trance lovers in China called "Himelfjoer" Hyper Trance due to its elements and floating lead after 5:30, thus I'm actually curious about Mr.Jetflag's own opinion. @Jetflag :) P.S.: An Electronic Music Critic...

Pleiadians - 30 Years (Album) [Suntrip Records]

Pleiadians is a household name for Goa Trance enthusiasts, probably as famous as Astral Projection and Simon Posford. In 1997, they released "I.F.O.", which later came to be hailed as one of the most classic albums of this genre. In 1999, they released the follow-up "Family of Light", which...

Hemstock & Connolly - Super Saw U (incl. Robert Vadney pres. THE TRANCE Remix) [TRANCE ROOTS]

Hemstock is from "Hemstock & Jennings" who made PVD's classic "Nothing But You".

    "Close" is brilliant.

Derango - Tumult Wonderful forest psychedelic album, it deserves a serious listen. :)

Super-Frog Saves Tokyo - Scream (incl. LØST LVLS Screamix) [Electronic Architecture]

The remix is brilliantly done. I love this controlled, muddy grittiness, losing myself completely in a towering forest of offbeats. Just too short.:(
