    Chicane - Someone To Stay

Cover of Vancouver Sleep Clinic - Someone To Stay. He played it for the first time about eight years ago and I immediately fell in love with it. Since then I’ve been patiently waiting for an official release date. Then a few days ago Nick announced that it will probably never be released. In...

KI/KI - Going Existential In The Rave [slash/label]

It came out a month ago already and leans a little more toward the commercial side of techno/neo-uptempo-rave-whatever-trance, but I think it's still worth a mention. A track that always stands out for me, both on radiosets and live on stage. Loving those 303 acid lines

LSR/CITY - burn it down [Emotional Intelligence]

New track by Gareth Emery, a little bit different from his usual LSR/CITY stuff and without vocals, so maybe someone here will appreciate it This is btw the first release of his new Emotional Intelligence "AI-free" label

Rank 1 vs Marco V & Benjamin Bates - Surprisingly (incl. Re:Locate remix) (Unreleased) [2001]

I'm probably """just a bit late""" to the party on this one :ROFLMAO: but believe it or not, it's the first time I've heard it. The original version was played by Rank 1 at Sensation 2001 Amsterdam but was never officially released. Here at the 20:45 mark: A few years later (around 2005)...

Juno Download shuts down after more than two decades

https://ra.co/news/85304 no warning, no nothing, just like that... an important piece of history disappears. Unfortunately it's understandable, though still sad. I hope the same doesn't happen to other digital music stores. Perhaps only beatport (mainly now thanks to less competition and the...

DJ HEARTSTRING & BAUGRUPPE90 - What Music Felt Like In 2007 [Steel City Dance Discs]

Not exactly new (it came out three months ago), but it has been growing on me. Actually one of the highlights of the year for me so far. Catchy, simple euro/old-school, but in a better way than many other attempts from other artists I've heard lately.

EDU BRAVO - Reality Reboot [Easteria]

Lot of nice releases on this label lately. Too bad it's a bit too short

T.O.M. - For Those We Don't Know [Pure Trance NEON]

I just realized this cool track from a few months ago has gone unnoticed here. Pretty nice, slightly-hypnotic trance:

Sunlounger - Recovery (Club Mix) [Magic Island Records]

Although it is more stripped-down/predictable and with less nuances and details than the older Sunlounger tracks, you can still recognize many elements of his trademark balearic sound. Not bad, way better than Shah's recent uplifting stuff imho

Asteroid - Codes of Consciousness [Deep Space | Music]

The track is actually from a year ago, I just discovered it by chance. I can't find any threads about it, too bad it went unnoticed. A great uplifter

    Kiholm - Wonder [Purified Records]

lovely progressive track on Purified, with a trancy vibe. Part of "Fragments XXVI" EP

Lange feat. Luke Anyon - Skyward Bound [Create Music]

The beginning is promising with some old school bass and acid sound, and that arpeggio in the breakdown (even if it's not the most original melody)... but then I'm not entirely convinced by the 3:46 part... anyway, a quite nice track :)

Darren Porter - Reason to Rise (Vinny DeGeorge Remix) [Reason II Rise Music]

That guitar break followed by the arpeggio is really nice, the rest is also ok although unfortunately more on the generic side. Overall, a pretty solid track for me. At least there is an effort to do something more than the usual template track. It's not the first song by Vinny that I quite...

Re:Locate pres. Octagen - Collected Works vol. 1 [Molekular Sounds Classics]

Early 2000s sound, but I think they are new songs, or at least never released before (someone correct me if I'm wrong). Nothing To Lose (Club Mix) Nothing To Lose (Classic Mix) Unsaid Untold

Ferry Corsten pres. Gouryella - Anahera [2015]

Well, this is an easy one. Ferry Corsten had a big responsibility on his shoulders. After his last Gouryella single in 2002, for 13 years everyone wondered if there would sooner or later be a new Gouryella single and if it would live up to expectations. We finally had our answer in 2015. And of...

Alex Starsound, Kul Beens, Paul 94 & Project Dino - Pump Up The Jam Volume (The Digital Blonde's Zero Zero dB Mix) [Infused Sound]

Classic DB sound, this time with a slower BPM than usual and even more cathedral synths 😀

OUT Mhammed El Alami - Healing [A state of Trance]

the famous ID from Armin's ASOT Reflexion liveset Very "ferry tayl-ish" 2010s style, melody probably heard before, but still very well done. (side note: amazes me that it seemed like people loved this track, eagerly waiting to hear about the author and title. Then Armin played it a week ago...
