Why am I not surprised that this track gets support from the likes of Armin Van Burren lol. Maybe a good pop song, but awful 'trance' track. These female vocals, omg. Seriously, I do not hate vocals in trance tracks in general (although I get mostly annoyed by them) but this song represents...

not bad, filling the 11 minutes in a good way (I looove long trance tracks). Also well produced. It's not groundbreaking but I think I'll buy it. :)

Yeah, really good but not in a top 10 (or 20) of Ricky's productions and remixes. The problem is that this wonderful man has set such high standards for trance music during the past decades that is very hard to reach them with every new production. So yes, still trance on a high level in the...

Out now from the Brazilian musician Syntheze. A double single. Absolutely unknown to the world. I prefer the b side 'Yang', love the simple but still complex melody and the spirit within. <3

it's okay, everybody has its own opinion and I also understand what you see (and hear) in Basil's remix. No offense. ;)

Good but poor in surprises for an 8 minute trancer. By reading all these positive comments I had to expect something 'more', it's too choreographed, unfortunately. I'm sorry, I am sometimes very hard in criticism because I know so many types of 'trance music' for so many years... so plz don't...

Out now on Shamanic Tales: SOME1 (formerly known as Mindwave) with a new killer track called 'Natura'.

Out now on Zenon Records, here is a fresh remake by French artist ETN of the famous Sensient track. The EP also features further ETN remakes of other tracks from different artists but for me the Sensient remix is the outstanding one. Just one example how (Progressive) trance should have been...

not bad despite Basil's work in recent years is mostly just generic stuff like so many great producers had to become. And this remix seems to be no exception. So I am more interested in Simon's original, because I am a small mark of his productions since decades. ;) I heard rumours it could...

it's good but as @Daysleeper already wrote it is not outstanding. quality production of course but that's also a standard by talking about Activa productions. Of course, between thousands of cheap and boring trance releases every week one must be happy with a tune like this because that...

Interesting... Seems that this could be the first track in years that reminds me of how "commerical trance" should be made nowadays (actually?). no steroid shit here and nice overlapping melody... thinking about the times when commerical trance has its last quality moments. In conclusion, yeah...

ok, i'm helpless now because i searched everything to finally identify a really special clasic trance song within the following mix on YouTube. it starts around here: ....and ends by the end of the 14th minute. so 6 minutes of pure madness.... really a sick track! sounds typically like early...

The golden age of the J00f sound. The first album under the collaboration '00.db' (John 00 Fleming and The Digital Blonde) 'Heaven & Heaven' (2009) was already extremely good but this LP even tops their debut. Yeah, when I think of '2010s trance music" my mind always go straight to J00f...

I can't wait! Ricky Smith never disappoints, despite that I am even more in love with his releases from previous decade (especially the 'Serenade' album). But that's complaining on a luxury level. He's one of the very few trance masters left who still 'delivers' (after former trance bosses like...

Hi @ all. I am reading in this forum for a while now. Over time I noticed that there is a strong anti movement against the so-called 'steroid trance'. And I fully understand. I myself was introduced to trance music during the legendary Eye Q / MFS / Superstition days, back in the early 90s...
