2025 has been the best year for Trance since 2010

Wholeheartedly agree. I left a comment on SolarStone’s soundcloud (pure trance radio 459) as I was just blown away by the sheer quality of every track on it. Felt the same about lots of other sets recently too.

Love your stuff mate. If you have the time... What's your top tracks across the proggysphere this year? (haven't been following mainstream too closely).

That’s very kind of you to say mate, appreciate it.

I’ll be honest with you, I haven’t been keeping up having just had a second child. My house is frankly, fucking mental right now.

the track that stood out to me in that solarstone set was Bjerkestrand - Skyfritt. Brilliant stuff. Another track I really love is Guy J - Worlds Apart.

I’m mostly using other people’s sets to try and keep in the loop, as and when I can. I obviously rate Solarstone’s pure trance radio, but also Alexey Sonar’s “skytop residency” and a new chap I’ve recently discovered called LUFĒRC - very talented progressive DJ. Also always worth checking out John Digweed’s “Transitions Radio”.

appreciate this isn’t really helpful, telling you to “go listen to stuff”, but these guys really have their finger on the pulse.

I've loved this year too, and for real one of the best we've had in modern times. The Enigma State album is the highlight, and here's my track of the year, and 2nd place below

I found peace with both dj mixes of Aerium, this was ‚the best‘ trance experience for me this year

I hope you get it right. Your mixes are absolutely great! Very fresh, varified, dynamic, old goodies, e.g. Kay Stone, Quietman, System 7, your new tracks … absolute recommendation for those who missed
