Alvar / S.O.N.S - Quartz Visions E.P [Peak Experience]

[Hensmon]

Started looking around for more Alvar material after listening to the samples posted in his album thread. I also really liked some of the tracks from the Alvar and Bonna EP from early in the year. Think this release is worth a listen too. Rose Garden Whispers is quite a moody track, I rate the vocal sample and little FX here and there. Not as much of a journey as I was hoping, but still good.

The S.O.N.S track is sort of a deep techy one that can be enjoyed when the mood is right, but not that interesting for me

This release is weaker than I'd expected. Personally I prefer the Alvar track of the two.

[Contraband]

I actually really like that Alvar track, especially as a warm up or close out

[Dreamless]

Alvar track is solid. S.O.N.S has seemed to drop off in recent years, but maybe that's just me.

[Haize]

The deep and dark soul of Rose Garden Whispers is bravo

[HTY]

The Alvar track starts just fine, in fact, it sounds pretty fucking good up until the point you realize it's not going to change or do anything by the time it finishes.

[Ruya]

I can get into Rose Garden too. Understand the criticism above however.
