As is often the case that's a hell of a lot of words yet somehow I still don't understand your position. You speak in very vague terms a lot of the time, whether that's a deliberate tactic or not I'm again unsure. But here's what happened as far as I'm concerned. OP came in with what looks like some thinly veiled homophobia and as they chose to start talking about it on a public forum I don't think me asking for some further explanation from them is unreasonable. Also it's not at all a political thing so there should be no need to take it there. Were supposed to be an inclusive community so I think we should all be responsible for calling this type of behavior out. Again, not getting into some hypothetical/semantic debate side quest with you, I just wanna hear more about what op's problem is

i'm mostly typing/thinking out loud as I go (with massive sleep depravation i might add) , but here's my position on this in a simple nuttshell.
Its perfectly ok for Armin to do this, and for OP to be cringed out/turned down by it/ by celebrity Dj's make overt political/ideological statements online.

I never viewed the OP as being remotely 'homophobic'...you can dress up as a woman without having any 'gay' issues with it...ive dressed up as freddy mercury with a wig and skirt for a fancy dress party (i want to break free persona haha).

other then that yeah fair enough lets see what OP thinks.
like said I think it can boil down to two reasons, individually or combined:
1: the whole grown-men with gender disphoria symptoms playing girly dressup is somewhat uncanny to him. (which you know, fair enuf)
2: he dislikes the cheap virtue signalling from Armin and/or other artists, regardless of what that signalling is even.
the latter is the part i can mostly relate too probably...though i don't think armin overly did it in this case.

Can he smoke , drink alcohol , speed and associate with anyone he wants to ? Can he proclaim himself and dress up like a prime minister of Netherlands? He may as well and he wants to but he lives somewhere and there is millions of things he can't do. I don't hate him , I just don't care about his words and actions anymore. If someone says that this is freedom then I think you may live the most constrained lifestyle possible.
He is not who he wants to be. He wants to bewhat he isn't andit shows in the contradictions.
