[MarnixMulder]

Last February Jack messaged me that he wanted to create a balearic track in the Magic Island style, at first Instrumental.
So I opened the Effosia project and used the ideas he had, the bongo loop and the intro pluck.
When we progressed I applied some vocals from a sample pack as that felt right. We NEEDED to make it a vocal track.
With that we created the whole track, and to complete it Jack asked Claire to sing on it.
Have tried a couple of leads, in the end this one by Jack won LOL, might share the test version with my lead as well someday, it's rather nice too. Actually still think that one would work really well LOL.

We finished it last month and of course we had to send it to Magic Island.
And then, unbelievable, Magic Island said yes, target label locked 🫶
