...sooooooon, an EP that started 4 years ago, the beginning of a very special journey together with my Danish friend Jack Aiman Høye 🫶

And how awesome that Lost Kommunication Records gave this EP a home! And what a home it is!

What started out as a YouTube video with some small track ideas, just 8-bar loops, somehow was watched by Jack and so Musical Language was born. Fast forward, together we also created Sometimes Things Just Happen For A Reason, a massive uplifting progressive trance anthem which deserves to be played out LOUD!

This EP perfectly represents our musical styles and helped me to learn so much more about trance production. It may even be the cradle that helped me to become an actual producer and made me polish me rough ideas, like Effosia became so much more with my technical progression learned by making these 2 tracks.

I clearly remember the time I uploaded my 'trance concepts' video to YouTube. Somehow Jack saw that and reached out.

Musical Language is basically the first track I worked out back then, and Jack told me lots of tricks, did the bassline and a lot of FX. So that track is pretty special to me.
Yeah, you can clearly hear it's in the beginning of my production journey, but how cool that Lost Kommunication gave it a place on this EP

And I think a lot of people know the other track that was born out of that video, together with @Julian Del Agranda Legatum was born.

The other track, Sometimes Things Just Happen For A Reason, is the next chapter, born almost 3 years ago, Jack sent me a midi file with the melody, at that moment I was on summer holiday so people on the campsite might have heard it lots of times, as I played it over and over.
When I came home I created a track around the melody and we sent ideas back and forth. In the end it became this really serious uplifting progressive melt.

Just 2 weeks from now and my first steps into more serious production will see the daylight

Actually it was a hell of a job to get this signed, because I wanted to include both tracks on an EP.

Musical Language was the first track I created from that YouTube video.
Even before Legatum, which was really nice, but still basically a @Julian Del Agranda remix of a melody of mine.
Musical Language is still the same track I created 4 years ago, and also 80% my own production (everything except for the bassline and drum rolls) so it marks the beginning of a journey. You can clearly hear that that it's a beginning too LOL, but so great to have it released

From all the labels we approached the big ones actually sent good feedback, and the smaller didn't reply at all. Music industry is weird

Awesome that you choose that one, it was the first more 'serious' attempt to produce, Jack (Dark Matter) added the fat bassline and it became a really serious track. 4 years later it's released, circle moment
