Ferry Corsten and Ruben de Ronde join melodic forces with NRG2000 for Rise Up, a heavyweight trance weapon built to raise hands and rattle dancefloors. Armed with vibrating synths and a domineering rave vocal, this peak-time cut fuzes the genres classic euphoria with a sharp, forward-thinking edge.

I would like to be the first to say this is absolutely dreadful, but it does involve Ruben de Ronde, so no surprise.

I kinda like the beat and the huge bassline, but the main lead melody is a big let down...I cant even stand it Im afraid

It’s kinda cool. I always liked clubtrance so it’s good to see it returning.

Eventhough it sounds a little bit too modern still (mainly the kick and the loud mixing) I like the direction. Fun.

The track’s not bad, but the melodic part only lasts for 1:20 of the entire song. I don’t think I’d want to listen to just the beats for the rest of the track. The vocal part made me laugh a bit I often use AI music generators, and if you select vocals, the default lyrics have the exact same vocabulary :ROFLMAO:

the melody is kinda catchy and could work for a Marcel Woods/JOOP style of tech trance, instead they expectedly made yet another tasteless modern armada trash out of it

It feels like forced nostalgia and all. A bit cheap.
I think besides the various modern sounds, this is also because it doesn’t feature much apart from the main melody.

It lacks some extra attention, cool effects, transition ‘fills’ elements, maybe a build-up melody.

Its very straight forward, beat, bass, some digital vocal, festival melody.

But compare to for example Klubbheads - Hiphoppin’. Which is the same genre.

There’s just more going on in there. Little bits and bites that make it more interesting.

Lead melody needs to binned. Just terrible track.

Apparently that's ferry corsten + AI (Suno) with the vocals singing they changed it from Male to Female.

I can't believe this is an Anthem for Luminosity for Aftermovie.
