Running. Ran my first marathon this year. It always gives me a great feeling. And a chance to listen to some great DJ sets.

Did some bloodwork (Iron, Glucose, B12, Ferritin, Folic Acid, Vitamin D). Everything good except Vitamin D - 28.6nmol/L which is considered insufficiency. I am not the sharpest person in the world even in the summer, but I'm totally miserable during winter months. Taking Vigantol 10 000IU two times a week now and trying to spend more time outside. Definetely going to supplement Vitamin D from october to end of march in the future. Never tested Vitamin D before.

Sydney NSW
I've moved to a different neighborhood in Sydney now. Where we were living was just full of hills. Ironically we now live in the west Sydney hills and it's a bit flatter and there's a huge sports field a couple of streets away. I say that to say I'm finally getting back into running. I was used to living right next to the Thames in London which was completely flat so when I went running here in Eastwood for the first time I felt like I'd been punched inside the lungs, and I can comfortably run a 5k in about 28 minutes

About the same as our old neighborhood, which is to say Sydney is testicle soup whenever you are. The bigger problem for me now is allergies, I've had to go onto this nasal spray because of the pollen. Pills alone don't cut it anymore. First world problems

One is not being able to build resilience and the other one is building it.

I am going to stop consuming the news. I know it's not an easy feat but I feel as though news has become like netflix in your face and dark and depressing news as well. Hearing a 7 year old child die and her father die was the final straw for me.

I found myself binge watching the news whether it be on Youtube and being fed algorithm stuff and newspapers have become paywalls, extremely louder and in your face and so negative as well and heavily heavily politicized as well and politicians have become entertainers, actors and celebrities as well and I realised it's has been like this since ww1 and ww2.

My wife, who suffered severe trauma last year, does the same.

the improvement in her mood and overall wellbeing is miraculous.

I am gald to hear that. I am going to stop late night talk shows as well. The ones that I used to watch has become heavily politicized as well and it is the same content being churned out when I put them side by side. They must get the same writers. Mind you its political satire.

Hah yeah I know, it’s a long running joke that these people basically all pedal the same narrative
