Glad to see that the originals from 2002 are back on digital even I feel this stuff sounds more authentic on vinyl. Unsure if I'll buy copies as many re-releases are either bad vinyl rips or transcodes or even both...

Here are the original studio WAV files with a light touch remaster keeping the tracks intact while slightly raising the peak to a suitable level for today's standard. Everything is already praised & approved by the original artists. Listen to the full release when it releases and then judge!

I won't judge anything. I'll keep my record/proper rip and won't give a penny to the Cheatport wankers. Money is too precious to waste with so many transcodes, rips or poor masters around (last one I bought from H&J was Ascension (Lange remix) as it was the case, a poor lossy transcode...).

As someone who bought a record from Robert in current times, I can tell that quality of his vinyl (I have THE TRANCE EP) is proper one But I won’t assure you, it’s your own decision. But when he says, he has got original masters, it’s truth.

That's what I have a problem with as well sometimes there is a thing as 'too loud' or 'too polished' or 'too digitised' I don't like how the percussion sounds in this remastered version compare it to the version below. It could be the quality sample uploaded on beatport though

Yeah I kinda replied harsh but my questionning was partly justified due to H&J releasing lossy files... Yet I tend to beware because digital retailers of classic tracks fooled us in so many ways for the past two decades or so which is why I only resort to analogue medium which are the only way to obatin the actual source material. And don't get me wrong, Beatport is asking a hell lot for mere files...

Oh, I don’t even know these, even I’m following scene around 20 years… thanks for pointing out. Robert is a guy with proper reputation (many releases for Perfecto, Lost Language and JOOF); I’m satisfied with his physical releases
