A couple of years ago, my mum sadly lost her battle with mental health and took her own life.
She was always musical and incredibly creative. When we were going through her house, I found books filled with lyrics she had written in her music room.
I wanted to use these lyrics for a while but couldn’t bring myself to use them.
Late last year, I finally turned her words into a track. It came together beautifully, and it felt like bringing a part of her back to life.
I’m proud to say it will be released on March 27th on Dreamstate Records. I’m so grateful to the Dreamstate team for believing in it.
If my mum was still here, I know she would have been proud to see her lyrics brought to life
