Marnix Mulder - Echoes Of Emotion [Lost Kommunication Records]

[Z Dobrej Woli]

@MarnixMulder - you’re better and better with next releases, it’s a tune

[MarnixMulder]

Thank you so much for the nice words!

Absolutely delighted by this release, it's a tune that goes way back, once called Emoticon.
I remember that my first inspiration for the melody came from Ayla's Angelfalls, I think you can still hear that a bit.
Created the original version in 2006, actually might share that version as well, great to see the evolution of this track.
And also to hear that I kept this new version really true to my original.

I started to make this update version in 2022, it was in my production showcase of last year (with the original title).
And beginning of this year I added the opera voice, which really gives it that bombastic feel I wanted to create.
Also I brought the breakbeat (for in the break, breakbreakbeat) from my original version back.

And then.... Lost Kommunication said yes to this!

Gives me VDM vibes! Tune!

You know that is the biggest compliment you can give!

I can understand your vibes, melodic wise VDM is one of my biggest inspirations.

And for more VDM vibes, actually I have a track 100% inspired by him, even the alias and title are an anagram to honour him... soon in my next production showcase:

....but first Echoes of Emotion ⚡️

Don't mind the sound quality, back in the days I exported my tracks as 192 kbps MP3's, to save space...

But this is the actual original 2006 version of Echoes of Emotion:

Another key, another phase of my production skills, but very interesting to compare if you ask me

that bell, to all the ravers in the nation.... haha, I love bells, flutes, oboes, all kind of other stuff than supersaws, it isn't always a good idea if you want to get signed
(once there was a bell in Effosia)

At least the flute in Via Memoriae is still there LOL

Very nice Marnix! (I am also a big fan of your Youtube account)

Any chance for a bandcamp release?
