Masada - Winter Rain [1995]

[TRANCEBLASTER]

typical dreamy italian 'Trance' from the mid 90's, produced by Alex Neri, Marco Baroni, who are best known as the members of 'Planet Funk'

Masada - Winter Rain [World Direction] 1995

[Archon]

Holy moly, absolutely lovely stuff!!!

[afterhourpower]

Italian dreamtrance is really something.

[Aquarium]

Man, this is killer

[Hensmon]

Lovely track

[Manofearth]

Wonderful soundscapes and rawness

[Perpetuous dreamer]

That's a class find.

[m_st]

how does this b-side sound so perfect, and the a-sides really terrible? its like two different artists. you uncovered a true treasure in this one.

[No Return]

So this is dream trance? Just sounds like old trance. Fucking good trance at that.

[TRANCEBLASTER]

So this is dream trance?

maybe yes, who knows

back in the days the dreamy stuff was characteristic for italian producers, also check

Vana Imago - Tesi [1995]

In my opinion this is one of the biggest trance releases of all time, 3 strong tracks on one vinyl, sadly underrated Tesi Antitesi Sintesi

[Hensmon]

This ones getting a bump, because it really is as sexy as it comes.

[TwinSilo]

God damn, that's gorgeous.

[pareidolia]

this tune is so good! too bad it's not available to purchase as an mp3

[TheTranceHistorian]

Incredible, what a find! I love trance tracks that are all about that subtlety, those small vibrations, tender melodies... simply beautiful. A similar track is Cryptic Diffusion - Spring Tools and Energy 52 - Café Del Mar (Peace Mix). I would love to see a clean lossless vinyl rip of this.

Edit: I managed to get the track in (seemingly) lossless format.

First, I bought the track on iTunes, but it's 256kbps only sadly. I didn't know that iTunes only have tracks in such low quality. But Deezer and Qobuz have the track in proper lossless format. However, it seems to be a vinyl rip, at least based on the first 10-15 seconds, there are some cracklings and noise here and there.

Edit 2: I just checked the track with Spek. It looks like an upsampled 160kbps track sadly, with a hard cut-off at around 17.5khz.

[Breach]

Well that was just fantastic

[Motion]

Gorgeous sound design. Very rich and deep. The YouTube sample sounds like a vinyl rip, and giving off some of that typical warping and detuned feel at times. It adds to the charm.

[Air_Water]

Wild how good this is

[Contraband]

Rare deep cut. Big props for diggin this up for the boys.
