Nemke - Stampedo [Monster Tunes]

[Julian Del Agranda]

A great modern trancer on Monster Tunes by 'Nemke', who I never heard of. According to Discogs his name is Nemanja Matovic, from Serbia.

This tune got played by Tiesto during his Dreamstate set, and I can see why. It's modern, but it suits 'trance-Tiesto'. Nemke must be over the moon with this new support coming from none other than Tiesto.

The intro really has the kind of "trance-Tiesto" vibe, and for me it beats 60% tracks of the current scene, but overall I'm not fond of this one.

When I heard this tune in his set I also immediately thought it sounds exactly like something I'd expect him to play.

Track itself is not outstanding for me, but good nonetheless and it fit very nicely in the set.

It has balls and not playing overly safe as lots of modern tunes. The main melody has some twists I'm not too fond of and some arrangement decisions that are questionable but overall, its quite different to what modern trance scene offers on a regular weekly basis and it's enough to make it stand out.

Just electro shit

I remember his older track Gaia from 2023 (nicely remixed by El Alami). This one is also good, quite well made bigroom track with energy and solid melody
