as usual with his tracks, the quality of ideas is very mid and so is the technical execution which feels very rushed. if the same amount of time and effort were put into proper development of one idea, the result would have been been much better than these four substandard "tracks"

Judging tracks from low bitrate previews at stores is not very smart.
Nothing is rushed, this sounds exactly as wished. You must finally understand that TRANCE ROOTS is not the generic "good boy" Trance sound of the last 20 years. You types already have your dedicated labels - to each their own.

My ears are bleeding.

Good!

Can't wait to hear the full quality versions when out.

I have a weak spot for different sounding tunes, and another weak spot for bombastic anthemic overdriven tracks. Like the Digital Blonde or Nhato can do, or the older Ace da Brain tracks. LOVE IT!
And it seems that this release fits that very well.
And indeed, the tracks sound different, and I love it! I make a lot of different sounding tracks, but only my 'safe' sounding tracks get released. With almost all my releases I was asked to remove 'different' sounds, like bells, flutes, brasses, vocal additions...etc. (yes, there was a bell in Effosia, and yes, I liked that bell version very much)
Great to have a label doing this, not your casual trance tracks.

Long live diversity! And Long live the King 😜
Although I might like the 'original' more hardtrance version better 🫶🏻

no it's just shit lazy production bro and what you say is an excuse for it, no bitrate can save ugly melodies, poor sound design and half arsed arrangements

I enjoy music from the early 2000s and such and back then shit like shit would've left unpublished coz noone would invest a penny in releasing this garbage but now you have your label but spent 20 years not improving your craft so you have this imaginary justification in your head for why it sounds like it does. "true old school trance roots, not the modern good boy trance" lol yeah. some people just can't embrace things for what they are

How else is he going to the judge the track? By buying it and then finding out he doesn't like the track? That would be a waste of time, energy and money. I think he is referring to the execution of the riffs and melodies and arpeggios they don't sound right. Vocal samples don't seem to fit the tracks either.

How is it good that his ears are bleeding? C'mon you have to take criticism just like me. I don't think people like him are insane there is some truth in what he says and people like him want to hear quality of precision and subtly in sound changes, depth and atmosphere we got to hear back in 1999/2000 and beyond up until the electro house took over the scene from 2003.

Nothing more to add.

I remember back in my early 2000s. Trance was different, and people weren't interested in understanding it because it wasn't superficial, and for that same reason, it's not like house music. If it weren't for the DJs and producers who expressed their ideas in their tracks, the most famous electronic music songs wouldn't exist.

If you don't like it, don't buy it, but at least wait until it's on a platform where it can be appreciated in great quality.

In my opinion, I hope to hear the full release soon :D Keep expressing everything that comes to your mind Robert :)

three random fonts that don't fit each other (one of them - the Trance Roots one - is a typical "my mom calls me a designer" one), an ugly logo and cheap nonsensical background

to sum it up - the cover art matches the music perfectly
