His guestmix for BR includes two other new tracks: check 49:37 (Millenium Strings) and 1:23:20 (Crystal City) But Death Of A Titan is my total favorite

[Grant Trowbridge]

I might know a label that’s releasing 2 of these

Absolutely stoked to have Death of a Titan finally coming out soon! Been sitting on it for a little while. So glad you guys like it and am so grateful for the support.

Side note - Crystal City was a very very early version in that Borderline mix. It's evolved since then into something superior

[Narel]

Nicely done. Second breakdown is particularly luverly.
We talking Warhammer 40K titan, Doom titan, or Greek mythology titan?

Warhammer 40K titan

Ofcourse…

Exactly Though i am partial to a bit of Warhound action too. The snarling of the princeps when fused with the aggressive machine spirit

i am, for some reason, imagining a scene right now where Yarrick goes:

*Wistle* HERE FLOPSY!*

And a massive mechanical titan comes skidding around the habblock, Runs to the man, drops 2 inches in front on his back, mechanical tail-wagging & feet kicking the air... Whilst happily yelping & panting as Sebastian Pets his front porch window and goes "Who's a good boi!"

It has that plasmoid sound. Hope there will be be a trilogy to this theme. Looking forward to the extended version

[Freezer]

Huge melody and that massive synth coming in 1:03:30, wow, goosebumps moment

[scottrichardson]

Gosh you guys rock!

As for the theme/story behind this one….

This song is part of a concept album idea I had about a mission from earth into space. I won’t get into all the details but it starts off on earth with deep progressive breaks and finishes with big uplifting and tech trance, with a journey through the middle.

This song is about the death of a star or a supernovae. The “Titan” here is the star. It felt apt for such a massive thing. The idea behind the tease drop and then the big drop is the whole expansion before implosion before the big final supernova.

Not technically related to Plasmoid but I think there’s certainly some elements that speak to each other. I’ll do a proper follow up to Plasmoid soon
