Solarstone - Dolphin [Black Hole Recordings]

[Z Dobrej Woli]

What a lovely track from Solarstone

[tranceissomewhatalive]

finally something proper solid from Rich again, has a lot flair of his early 2010s first "Pure Trance" tracks and remixes

[Jetflag]

good morning that is lovely

[proxi]

Sounds nice, helped by the fact my dirty mind sees a cleavage in the artwork.

[cyalataque]

nice from Rich

[NameLessYet]

When I write the introduction of this track, I find that it's actually a Trance Mix of a Morden Classical song released in 2024.

@NameLessYet Background story:

My new single ‘Dolphin’ is out today. This one has a rather unusual backstory…

It began when a stray sound fragment on a Schiphol Airport TV captivated me. I tracked it down to ‘Dolphin’ by JB Dunckel, one half of the fabulous French duo AIR.

After falling in love with the original, I decided to reinterpret the delicate piano & strings with synths & electronics, taking it somewhere rather different.

It was only meant as a secret ID in my DJ sets, but JB himself heard my version & his response was simply: “I love it!” Which, as you can imagine, made my day.

‘Dolphin’ is out everywhere today courtesy of Black Hole Recordings.
