Solarcoaster release strategy is funny. The Superstrings remix came out on Armada Captivating, so they could have bundled it with Deestopia. But no, it was better to release them separately to suit the label and make sure the money was right.
I think there's no global strategy for it. Armada has the rights for the tons of classics so usually they don't even bother notifying the original artists when they drop new remixes of their classics, which they do a lot.Solarcoaster release strategy is funny. I guess it might be too „weak” for big AC. As I see, it’s first „Solarcoaster” remix (of new era) released outside Armada. Funny thing is that it was played in London during Pure Trance XI recording but before recording (warm-up) part![]()
That’s no excuse as far as I’m concerned. Armada Music and Captivating also released remixes of classics by lesser-known artists and bundled them into a single release. Take We Control The Sunlight from 2011, for example: fifteen years later, they decided to package remixes by Darren Porter and Fuenka into one single release rather than putting them out separately - even though one was for FSOE and the other for UV.I think there's no global strategy for it. For this remix it's either that Rich agreed on with Armada regarding the rights to release it on his label or he had the rights for it all along, as well as Armada.
