First 6 minutes are fucking awesome...
The lead melody with the Asian esque vocal fragments in the second minute is world class. could be my release of the year...

..any release updates?

Looks like another good release that's only making its way to vinyl. To be frank, this is a pointless tactic, as all it does is encourage us to go the piracy route. I would happily pay for this music, and often I have to go buy some other release from the label to give them money they rightly deserve. The majority of listeners do not collect vinyl, and most people can't even afford such a hobby nowadays. Music has already been pushing further and further into a "only for the rich" territory, and this is one piece of that. I appreciate there's a fun cultural dimension to limited vinyl supplies and club exclusives, but again, this only benefits a wealthy minority. Maybe I am missing another perspective...

As for my opinions on the tracks, The Principle Of Infinite Happiness really sounds like top 10 material to me.

if you live in Europe, you can find all of these records (wich were posted on the forum) in any decent record store in a major or bigger city...

but soon or later you will find this release for download at WHERE WE MET

It's not really the same. I have a great vinyl to digi setup, and it's still producing a pretty big difference compared to the source digi file. So many of these niche releases have subpar presses too. Charge me the same as the vinyl + shipping even for the digi, I dont need the plastic. It's a waste of energy to produce and ship overseas for me, at 30+ a whack. Or bundle the vinyl with the digi like some artists are doing.

Also, I tend to use these in EOY mixes where a October-Dec release, even if it comes in digi in January, is past its prime. I know this is all trivial in the scheme of things, but some artists are missing out on free $$ taking this approach. They know they end up on Red anyway right?

ahh, how many of these vinyl-only releases with trance/prog actually come out a year? max 10? don't make such a big deal out of it... hundreds of digital tracks are released daily

Well maybe max 10-15 tracks a year yes, but there's probably only 30 trance tracks I consider truly great in the entire year, maybe less if its only underground tracks. So having 5 tracks I love not available might be 20% of my haul for the year. Maybe it reflects my no1 track of the year too...

I'd like to see vinyl only for first 6 months, and then a digital release at a later date. That way you can give the live scene some crate digging and exclusive mixing for their sets, with the rest of us enjoying things at an affordable price for a later date.
