Techno trancier than trance

[Redrot]

Yep!

I'll say that his stuff isn't usually the most texturally complex, but it's always got nice driving energy and his soundscapes are A+. Not all hypnotech is actually that, well, hypnotic, but his tunes almost always are for me.

[Katadunkass]

Will definitely give it a listen this weekend. Have had it on my "watchlist" for some days now on Spotify. Currently rocking Daniel Avery's new album; That thing slaps as well!

[Redrot]

Yeah, I like it a lot! I feel like Avery's LPs haven't really been cohesive since Song for Alpha (he did admit that they were essentially collections of tunes he made over the pandemic), but his new one returns to feeling a bit more complete.

Well, except for Illusion of Time but that one's a bit different. (it probably belongs in the Analog Relaxation thread instead heh)

[Katadunkass]

100% true, I have really been enjoying Avery's recent releases. Especially Lone Swordsman hits my soft spot

Really enjoy this track and I can relate with this guy:

Motoko Ayanami

Incredible! When I saw the name Invexis I was so confused because I have a vinyl from him, but haven't heard anything from him in ages. Come to find out they are back after almost 20 years!

Completing this treasure chest is a remix by Hodge for the pragmatic minded out there. Using some heavy drums of the west, his version of Neuclidea extracts the trance-like elements of the original and turns it into a floor-polishing brush.

This is so fun to listen to
Some of the tracks remind me of the stuff key4050 has put out a few years ago.

One more from the Groove Estate Records label,
really enjoying their output!

That bassline sounds so familiar, I guess it's inspired by Kosmonova - Raumpatrouille.

nthng's cover of Jam & Spoon - Follow Me. Pretty simple rework but it works imo.
