Airwave had a big announcement recently about the scene, his direction and the in the work albums!

Here it is, just found it:

Change Is Wonderful | Sonik Management

Even when it is difficult. Many of you have experienced this and I’m sure you know what I’m talking about. I wanted to share my thoughts …

Can't wait to hear and see what he's got in mind, there are a couple of rather big statements in there.

[Magdelayna]

Nice vibe at the start. Bit groovy, like that. How is that coming along?

Ive had a bit of a summer break producing wise, but i hope to carry on with this soon. Currently on the breakdown...i want to try and work in an acid line which runs through the track. Iam currently looking at maybe adding the new Behringer TD3 modded out synth to my studio for some real 303 acid. It would be my first bit of hardware ever.

Paul was really a cool dude, no wonder he was so popular and respected. He played various stuff in his mixes: breakbeat, tech house, trance, techno... check out this little mix https://soundcloud.com/rave_on%2Fpaul-van-dyk-live-mark-spoons-birthday-party-dorian-grey-frankfurt-germany-03122000

Haha, omg I bought that issue of Muzik along with all their other issues from 1999.

Why did you post it?

Hooj Choons just updated their profile pic on FB. First sign of activity from them in years. At the very least, were getting Hooj releases on bandcamp (yay). Who knows what a 'whole bunch' of incoming stuff means.

[Archon]

That logo looks like they're going to release hip-hop or something. Very colourful.

Can't wait to see what that actually is.

Doubt it will be some new stuff. The level of quality and standards that need to be met for a Hooj release is not something that has been reached (much) in these modern times.

h21c <- is this Hooj's new sub label? Turns out they have several releases last year h21c Bandcamp

[Magdelayna]

This one just hit 25 Million plays - which is a bit crazy.

Great news they are coming back. Need more Trance labels that offer that middle ground between slow prog and banging uplifters.

I started a new alias with 2000-2004 vibes as well! I haven't finished a single track yet though. That's probably what will happen here as well, knowing his promises.

[Julian Del Agranda]

I do think Arnej is very good producer though. Both with interesting sounds/technique, as well as melody/theme.

So I'll always keep a very small little corner of an eye open for something to happen from his side.

A new track i started..any thoughts on the melody?

Daphne Oram was likely the first ever British electronic musician. Check out her quote in 1957

"You take sound, any sound, record it and then change its nature by a multidisciplinary of operation; you record it a difference speeds; you play it backwards; you add it to itself over and over again. You adjust filters, echoes, acoustic qualities... you produce vast and subtle symphonies. Its sort of modern magic. We think there's something in it. Some musicians think it may become an artform in its own right."

Probably the best quote on electronic music I have ever read, just amazing. Look at this legend. First ever to 4 deck mix as well it looks like haha.

Lots of M&M music coming out soon!
