Wavetraxx and Jaron Inc. have been carving out uplifting hard trance masterpieces on Drizzly Records for 25 years. The two trance titans teamed up again and created the powerful and melodic epic trance anthem 'Summerbreeze' in 2 parts! This track surely makes your body tremble and is guaranteed to make you lose yourself in ecstasy. An energetic trance-pounding masterpiece!

Wavetraxx Mix was released earlier

I'm glad if you like the track. Thank you very much.

My mix is quite old school. But apparently there are still DJs who play something like that. I just saw that Aly & Fila and Photographer played the track.

Jaron's mix sounds much more modern. Let's see where this mix is played.

My mix wasn't planned at all. Jaron's mix was actually already approved. But I really wanted to do something of my own. So I produced my mix in one evening / night and then presented it to Jaron / the label.

The guitar part in the original collab mix (Jaron inc mix / Part 1) sounds so organic but yea Wavetraxx remix completes the release, but still I'm edging more towards Jarons take for its laid back warm sound with thicker sound layers / 2.0 way. 10/10 for full release for its classic sound.

The guitar on Jaron's mix sounds so euphoric.
It's incorporated very well into the mix,
interwoven with the pluck.

I really like how the track retains high energy,
despite the balearic touches.

The WT mix is stunning !
What a melody!!

These days, everywhere the name Wavetraxx turns up, there's quality Trance music to be found.
That is not a coincidence, it is one massive release after another!

One of the best producers of the year for sure!

Sticking to it after more than 20 years,
this definitely is pure passion.

Respect and nice to find you here @wavetraxx !

PS.

You're a legend since a long time now, but as a listener,
I think you're at the peak of your production just now.
Bringing together the best from all your styles:
Hard, Upfifting etc into a perfect, matured package.
The vibes, the essence, it is all at it's maximum.

Thank you very much.

It took me a long time to understand what it means to produce music. I quickly bought a keyboard or some VST instrument. But how you then have to work with it is a completely different story. :)

I'm still looking for a level of quality where I'm happy with myself and my productions. In the last 4-5 years, I've been dealing with the technology at all.

And yes, for me it really is a passion. I earn almost nothing from music, partly because I'm "just" a music producer and not a DJ who flies around the world every weekend. From time to time I also get requests from all over the world to perform at parties/clubs, and I've done a lot of things like: Spain, UK, Las Vegas, Canada, Switzerland, Germany, Holland, Czech Republic, Poland and other countries.
But I've decided to keep music as a hobby and not to have any pressure from outside / labels / clubs / DJs. I just do it for the sheer joy of it.

As long as I enjoy the music, I will do it. There are many new productions in the pipeline. My "Smile" has just been released by Drizzly Eclipse.
Wavetraxx - Smile (Drizzly Eclipse)

You can certainly tell that my productions have come to a standstill somewhere between 1995 and 2005. For me, that was the time when the greatest trance classics were created. That's why my songs often have an old-school character. Because it's simply exactly what I love.

I ignore a lot of new artists / productions & labels. There's so much similar stuff on Beatport, without character or soul. Buy a ready-made template, play the melody, done. That has nothing to do with passion. I just go my own way.

Enjoyed it. Actually Wavetraxx to me your track still sounds modern instead of classic. The hats and some of synths are polished/clinical, but to me it feels much more sterile than an oldschool production. I can tell its from post 2015 in an instant. The big main synth sounds wonderful though and the main melody is nice too. Quite like parts of Jarons too. Both could grow on me, look forward to hearing the full thing.

Yes, you're right. But that's not due to the current technology / possibilities but to my inability to mix it properly. :)

Just a few days ago, a producer colleague explained to me what I was doing wrong. The new productions that follow sound warmer in the sub range. Whereby mixing is always a matter of taste. Some people like it this way, others like it differently.

There's nothing that sounds wrong, actually I think your mix is a great middle line between older style mixing and the modern 'clean' sound.

When the sub is warm, people will say your mix sounds muddy. :D
Just kidding. If I could decide, I'd ask every producer to make their mix and mastering to sound like a vinyl master,
even for the digital only releases.
That dynamic, warm base, is very enjoyable to the ears.
Especially on supersaw-driven tracks.

Main thing is, it needs to sound punchy and for the mix to be not muddy at all, Jaron inc has that warm mastering and Wavetraxx mix has sort of bright mastering both perfect for their individual style.
