Cheers for the offer. Not a mac user im afraid. I use a PC with presonus studio one. V4 ( originally artist version but with add ons) wandering if i should get version 6 now. Or if i should get and subscribe to presonus sphere which gives all future updates and access to presonus community, training vids, live confrences and all presonus software. In the UK its on offer at £110 at interaudio, probably goes up to £150 after first year. Cant find a per month subscription in uk like USA though.

maybe id be better off getting full pro v6 and pay on finance. I can get upgrade for £269

This is a track i am making for TF-R.
@Hensmon has aided a lot with structural arrangements. Ive just listened to this latest version made about a week ago.

Do peeps think my arrangement of it is fairly acceptable or pretty good or not acceptable.? I personally think its not bad but would like honest feedback. @Daysleeper would love to know what you especially think. Everyone else too.

Thank you peeps for all the help so far. Its appreciated as it’s possible that structure and arrangement is the only thing holding me back from beginning a path in the Trance music industry.

Mainly Acid & Kick improved. Few other sounds.

setting this up for potential 10 minute ish track. ( few bits end too early etc on this arrangement, but ran outa time )

just posting for feedback on acid and kick.
Oh and some parallel universe & Artificial intelligence samples added/repeated

I feel sounds more moody/dark now.
Changed 303 waveform and automated various filters a lot

Some UTE / Translusid tracks were listened to before my studio session to inspire. Plus ive just finished season 4 of Fringe. Oh Myyyy that program!

Nice . But I have challenge for version 2.0 if you accept.

- you’re not allowed to make an ambient intro or outro, track has to start and end with drums/ dj friendly.
- has to be 6+ minutes long at least

One thing you can do is take a track with a (proper) trance structure. Overlay that in your daw, sync the tempo. And just rebuild it (in terms of sequence/counterpoints etc). I still do this from time to time when I’m stuck. And it’s a great way to get a feel for sequencing /what your track could be.

Hunter Thompson once retyped The Great Gatsby just to feel what it was like to write a great novel.

i think my only way to import a trance track into my daw is to purchase it. I have all the tf-r ones ( imported them into daw for the first time in trying that exact approach 3 days ago with a different more uplifting prog trance track). But i feel this track is different feel. ( although potentially some paracosm tracks sound cosmic in a way) Im very inspired by the ute/translucid tracks as they have often that cosmic feel. I will purchase one i reckon and use that as a template to import into daw project. As another comparison can you think of a track from paracosm that would assist also?
