I migh be the only one not fancying this too much. I mean its "better" than shit steroid trance, but i find the beats too processed and static. It doesnt go anywhere either. You have the break in the middle surrounded by the beats. It lacks some proper ideas imo. Thats why I feel that this decrease of lenght and in this case 5.50 is not doing the track any favors. Trance should ALWAYS (95%) build up something gradually imo.
Beats also feel a little processed for me, some of the other effects used too. It's robotic and I'm never a fan of that in Trance personally. The main pads and synth and those ethereal vocals are pretty lovely but the entire track doesn't assemble itself into anything meaningful to me. I don't feel any tension, movement or energy there.
Check 1:58 (timestamped) here onwards. So much more life and movement. Kind of processed feeling too but also feels nice on the ears.
Really cool track, absolutely was not expecting something like this. Gotta say the track name for once is align with the sort of feeling the music portraits. I did feel like the intro was a countdown to a space launch, with the climax being the launch inself
I do start to agree with Daysleeper though. This track could develop another small melody after the “climax” part, have a second breakdown with the pads returning, some other new sounds... would have made it even more special
