So I made a new set/playlist for 8th Note Prog which was a term that Ishkur came up with. I'm really not sure how many people used that beside him. It goes into as much details as i could find.
8th Note Prog was pioneered by deadmau5 in his earliest key tracks, brought to commercial success by Adam K & Soha, and used a few times by Wendel Kos and Inpetto in original tracks and remixes. By the end of the 2000's the template sound had run its course. The style came back almost a decade later with a flood of new melodic prog musicians (initially from mau5trap Recordings) who helped revitalize the sound again.
Just wondering if people here had any more information or feedback off what I've been able to scrounge up.
