Hey everyone, I hope you all are well and had a wonderful summer. Had a much needed break from everything and did spend a lot of time with my family. So I am all charged up and refreshed again.

Refreshed enough to pick up this track I've started a good while ago. I already did some work on it in terms of cleaning up the mix a bit so it is more pleasant to listen to 😂
The aim for this track was to create a vibe like the old "In Search of Sunrise" era.

Now there is the fun part of decision making and continuing the track. I already have some ideas but I would like to know what you guys think of it.

Cheers 😃

Wowsers. Some of those sounds at the start with those vocals too. Damn nice atmosphere! You are a Pad master dude!

nicely into the break. Some good sounds in there too. Wandering if the kick needs more Oooomph, plus when the break comes a more present kick will add impact to the atmosphere. Maybe eq.
-Nice arpegiator sound. Then pad plus Lovely chord changes. ( I envy your chord changing ability, you nail it 🔥 ). Rather beautiful. Nice piano melody. I’m wondering possibly if there needs to be another sound there too. Big sfx sound or some other sound giving melodic input.
Around 3.30 could maybe do with some kind of energy change upward, and then the quiet part would really change the drama feel when it comes in. ( the quiet part is rather nice.

Definately has the ingredients of a great tune dude!

Thanks dude 😊

Pad master... Wow... Great compliment, thanks 😄

For a while now I've been listening the entire In Search of Sunrise series on repeat and that inspired me to start this track. Nice chill atmosphere, a bit old school.

Already did some work on it in terms of changing the kick for one with more low end since this one just hasn't got low end.
Added a clap cos I think it just needs one.
Leveled down the open hat a tiny bit cos it is a bit to much.
Also looking to add another layer to the arpeggio lead sound to get a fuller sound and maybe even completely overhaul the whole arpeggio.

So more love is given to the track and will post an update soon.

Thanks again bro for your feedback, it really means a lot to me and it helps me to get better.

After quite a few hours wasted on this little project I finally made some progress again.

I changed the kick which should have more energy now.
Changed up the arpeggio a bit to give it more presence.
Decided to add a clap, since there was none.
Added some elements and automation.

All that while trying to keep that vibe alive.

Hearing some good improvements here dude. Kick is definitely more weighty now. The atmosphere of the song seems more balanced too, helped by the work on the arp I think. Just all seems smoother now. Good work. Structure wise…well that’s always been my weak point, so it’s hard for me to highlight it actually but I think there could be a few areas that may benefit from work to enhance the track flow wise.
- I’ve just started using reference tracks. It really does help with structure where I have huge blind spots if done naturally.

Thanks bro 🙏
I definately had a better flow and feeling working on this version than on the abomination.
The arp did take while before I was satisfied with how it is now.
Structure wise it needs some work and I'm already searching for a reference track for guidance.

But overall happy with the progress so far.

Cheers mate 👊🏻🙏
