I like deep remixes but NOT when both of them are too far away from the original concept as that just kills the excitement for me. (I didn't fully enjoy the original and was hoping for a proper take on remixing the original with more modern touch to it).
Coredata remix is so deep i might actually understand and appreciate it after few weeks of listening.
Regsrding Lostly remix, sorry, not this time it's just acids all over (just not for me).
Coredata remix is fantastic. He always seems to make good music, no matter what label or style. His track Cyan on Pure Trance is one my favorites. I hope he makes more trance music in this style again someday.

Big fan of the original, but was nevertheless curious about remixes.
The Lostly one above is good, but just strays so far from the original it might as well be called something else.
The Coredata remix is fantastic on its own (especially the little breaks section) and yeah, like @afterhourpower said, very reminiscent of Martin's work.
However, like the Lostly remix, there's basically nothing of the original in it.
Like with the three remixes of Breeder tracks from earlier this year, they're good on their own. Given how much they stray from the source though, I'd hardly label these as remixes of Velika. They're closer to full on originals.
