Aside from the break (which is rather lazy, especially for Alan Morris' standards) and its annoyingly short drop and song length, I'm really enjoying this actually! Has some Tempo Giusto and Stoneface & Terminal elements plus some early 2010's tech trance energy, might honestly be my favourite song of 2024 so far.

some techy elements sound kinda cheesy, if done in a proper darker techy manner would be even better

not sure of the length complaints, what do you guys want there to be for 8 minutes long or so? just more loops would make it boring, inserting a big dramatic 2 minutes long breakdown would ruin the flow either

and It's not like just 4 minutes long, although it could have been lIke that, there are lots of examples within a modern tech-trance stuff like MaRLo tracks.

Oh, I meant as in that I personally think an additional 16 bars in the drop would do the tune good because it sounds a bit on the short side to me. I agree that a 2 minute break would ruin its drive, but I also think that a <30 second long break merely consisting of an arpeggiated version of the melody is way too generic and/or lazy given what Morris and Drake are capable of. If it were up to me, I'd have replaced said break with something more soft-sounding followed by a short buildup (like Stoneface & Terminal's mix of "Shadows" by Yahel & Liya) before continuing from 2:41 onward.

I know I probably came off as someone who thinks longer = better in general, but that's not a mindset I completely agree with. "A longer length can make a song better, but a shorter length will make a song worse" is the mindset I have, which is applicable to this track (as I've stated above).
