Massively underrated tune. Heard it on TN1 in 1999, thankfully found the Goldenfishfever album in a bargain bin at uni- as the 12” is rare as rocking horse shit.

Thank fuck they haven’t!!! Absolutely no need; 99% of remakes or updates or whatever are awful. ‘Modern’ production is mostly awful. This isn’t me being a grumpy 44 yo cnut, I do a lot of mastering work and the concept of dynamic range is just, lost.

Sunrise is unexpectedly gorgeous! Starts off very generically (for the time), but turns into an absolute stunner as soon as the breakdown begins. That melody is perfection!

And I would absolutely love to hear a less-generic remake of this - sorry but this melody deserves a lot of additional effort to be turned into a 10/10 track.
