Hi Everyone
What follows will be a rather unusual request, but I hope that with so many sound engineers somebody will be able to help me out.
I am posting this in off topic, since even though it is sound related it is clearly not music.
Anyway, I have a neighbour problem. For a number of years now I have been asking them to stop holding loud parties and smoking on the balcony right near my bedroom. They stop only to start again. I have been patient and only talked, but after another ruined night and a “so what” response from them I have had enough. This is especially annoying since I can’t sleep then afterwards can’t focus at work, while they are sleeping off their party in comfort during the day.
I have a 15 second ultra low frequency bass file with two waves that are essentially similar in frequency, but are slightly off. This is felt as vibration through the walls and causes significant discomfort (tested it on myself), especially if somebody is hung over. The plan is to vibrate the shit out of them as I head off to work each time after they hold a party
The problem is that when I put the audio file on repeat it plays a very noticeable “boom” each time a new loop begin. I am guessing it is since the beginning and the end of the waves do not match.
I am quite hopeless in sound editing, thus could anybody help me with creating a longer version of this 15 second sample without the “boom”?
I can send the file via email, since I cannot seem to attach it to the thread when posting on the phone.
Any help is greatly appreciated
