ASOT Top 1000 Trance Tracks Of All Time.

Just scrolled through the hole list and a couple things to write down about:

1. No Art of Trance? Couldnt find a single one. Maybe I missed it.
2. No SUNNY LAX!?
3. Radion6 remix of Nebuchan???? No :/
4. Theres too many tracks from last couple of years, that make little to no sense being there imo.
5. Swedish House Mafia - One! Haha.
6. The list is among all things just boring for me as an long-time listener. I dont care much for any of these tracks.
7. Why is Anahera in the top 10 and the others so low? Give me one reason besides that it was a comeback track.

I surely hope that the TF list will contain alot less trancehits, vocal tracks and these overplayed "classics" . Im counting on you
So please no southers suns, saltwaters and satellites in the top 10

hard trance like that might have made it in the early 2010s but not rn
That's when the most viewed trance videos on Youtube were compilations of early 2000s hard trance, like "top 10 trance techno anthems ever." Now everyone and their mother is putting up "uplifting trance" videos with pictures of attractive women for views.

Plummet - Damaged (Antillas Remix) and P.O.S - Remember (Summer Sun) are also not in the top.

Look what people included in the top instead of "Damaged" remix...



This EDM version of Damaged from 2012 in ASOT top 1000 is a disgrace regarding to the original vocalist Cheramy Burgess from the Plummet project who died in 2015 from the drug overdose in 2015...

I must say that I do have fond memories of Shivers which got me into trance as my friend was playing that with This World is Watching Me. However I would not consider it to be my number one (Asot) - track. From the bright side, Rank 1 - Airwave is only 15th .

And Magdalyena, you were right about Saltwater.

I can see why Anahera is so high - it was a huge deal when Gouryella came back,right in the peak of the social media age,and on Trancefix aswell as we all remember...and its actually still a very good Trance track when you compare it to the rest of the last decade.

There isnt one Transa track either - i checked with Dave Webster to ask if Armin ever played one on ASOT and he said yes. So there cant be one person who doesnt list a Transa track as one of their all time??

Also some remixes were discounted - like it was the Gouryella mix of Binary Finary in there,but the PvD or Matt Darey remixes were nowhere to be seen. Massive tracks in the history of Trance.

This just shows you how biased the voters are to Armin - yes its a good remix,but nowhere near the classic original Atlantis mix. But surely the original wouldve got enough votes to be in the top 1000?? This is why i think theyve discounted a lot of tracks and gone for the remix with the most votes...

imo Anahera is just a rip off of Tenshi, you dont go 10 years later "hey this is inspired by anahera!" Its already overshadowed with its more superior predecessor for those who still remembers.

Good stuff! Trance.nu once did a massive poll which had knockouts and Chicane - Saltwater eventually came out on top.

Problem is not everyone has an all time top 10 in their heads.

On alphabet it might be true. But we have nothing in order.

We are first just gathering stuff and make a bit of a blueprint. Community will deffo be involved. But not with a voting system. We dont have the member amount for that. Plus it avoids ‘less smart’ votes for lets say Blah Blah Blah.

Discussions and little polls will shape the list more and more, until we have something any trance fan can look at and think: Yes, this is our genre.
