The beats are apparently sampled from Active Sight - Out of Our Loves, or at least have a style that very closely resembles the ones from Out of Our Lives. In any case, Arrogance is solid tech-trance that would have been at home in Sensation Black or Trance Energy back in 2005-2006.

I like it, brings back memories of 538 Dance Smash 2010 and 2011 (compilations from a Dutch radio station containing pop hits from said year, which I used to listen to before I discovered trance) for some random reason.

2010 was still close enough to be influenced by ~2006-era music. Just took a quick glance at the volume 1 list, and this Hi-tack track has an oddly similar vibe even though they're in two different genres.

Slightly outside of the thread topic, but related to 2006 and 2010 being close enough:
When I first heard the Michael Calfan remix of David Guetta's Turn Me On [2010], I thought it sounded familiar. It turns out that the producer used a synth Booka Shade had developed years before for In White Rooms and then released on a DAW.
