Hello and welcome to the give trance a chance mix series with me Ben Quinney.

2022 has been a breakout year for the re-emergence of trance with a flood of new artists such as Glen S, Bliss Inc, SEO John and Reflex Blue, to name but a few.

On this 13th edition, we once again hand over the turn tables to explore this massive resurgence in trance, DJ A992.

This set is an homage to some of the best tracks of 2022. With the odd throwback and nod to the 90s blending breaks, techno, house, electro, but still retaining a very trancey character.

Haha that's me mate, glad you enjoyed this set! It's my 2022 EOY mix. I especially want to shout out the Aerium and Midian tracks too as I think that particular part of the set is peak fucking 2022 trance, as well as the Willem remix. I've said this to many people, but 2022 has been an incredible year for trance and adjacent genres. I'm actually excited to dig and make mixes. Keep the tracks comin' folks, my wallet is ready . While my production is limited to mashups, edits and remixes at the moment, I'll be putting some stuff out in the wild next year.

Also, thanks so much to this forum and my mate Redrot for leading me here, b/c so much of the goodies I've found are from this thread and others on the forum.
