It loses much of the charm from the original version, imo. I wonder why it was never released.
Well, I'm biased towards the remix since I heard it first. With that being said,
it's obviously a remix and not something Schulz would compose himself (I don't remember him using synths like these in his originals) [Self-correction: he did use a similar synth in the uplifting mix of Do You Dream and probably also a couple of other tracks] and you gotta respect Rank 1 for creating the original. I feel like the final part of the remix could be improved though, the track loses energy in there at the very end. If you listen carefully you'll notice that it follows the same pattern as Schulz's remix of Brain Box.
Schulz wanted it for himself I think. Since his style has changed so much over the years, he could release it for free. It's about 12 years old. I know that Darren McNally has it as he played it in his Coldharbour Day 2014 set.
