I used to only hear the melodic section from 2:40 onwards, but now I've realized how good the intro minutes really are. Blue Planet Corporation did a great job at rising tension during the whole intro with those background pads starting at 0:03 and the menacing old-school sound at 1:20, 1:46, and throughout.
