My new workflow is simple & I feel it’s working. It’s more fun and it might even be getting better results. The workflow concentrates on not making things complicated. Not being too perfectionistic.
Getting on with construction of a tune. It I feel has enabled me to get into structure and arrangement more. And now I find that part very exciting indeed. Perhaps I still have arrangements / structure things to learn, but I’m very optimistic il get there.
I want to thank you all for the kicks in my ass you have given me to improve arrangements and structure. Please continue . Especially @Archon @Hensmon and I believe @Daysleeper ( where you been lately dude?).
many others too I want to thank for critiquing. the usual suspects … you know who you are. Theres lots of you 🫶

So here is a taster of WIPs I’ve quite quickly put together. ( quick for me anyway
).
Comment if you like.
- It will be appreciated.
-***Please bear in mind I always leave the end of a WIP in that will not be like that in a final version, thus the structure will change. Sometimes I do this to help me have ideas when listening to it back. To see what ideas I have to pop in the track towards the end of a current WIP . . -***
- ‘When Lightning Strikes’. Inspired by the underground trance scene a little.
Never made or started anything like it in style. Only took 2 hours to get this far. ( bloody fast for me! ). Damn fun!
EDIT: Now done more on the track
4 hours. 3m length
edit: updated to wip3

‘Flying on the wings of a Bird’. More melodic and chilled energy. Mtook a bit longer to get this far, probably 5 hours.
edit updated to WIP 5.5

Both tracks have been fun to do so far and my energy is still high for them.
These tracks are No where near the bin of the producers WIP graveyard. And I’m determined they won’t find it!
Heres one that is nearing the WIP’s graveyard. Should I save it? ( ignore that it says mastered)
