Not sure if the other version was unreleased or released on vinyl only but it's indeed MUCH better than the released version.

I think it’s just a 2nd higher synth layer on top of it. The lower layer is still in the original (vinyl version).

I don’t hear anything else that’s different, apart from the arrangement.
