activaofficial: A few years ago now I heard an incredible track by @christinanovelli called I’m Ok on YouTube. The backdrop was a church and the track was understated, melancholic and meant the vocal was front and centre. It instantly hit me as a fantastic song that could transfer well to a trance track but needed handling delicately.

When I was making Origins, I was able to get the vocal stems and did a remix, with things going very quiet afterwards so I assumed it wasn’t liked and it would be one that sat on my hard drive.

It seems that a lot of my tracks take some time to sink in and I often find that a little while after a release or people have first heard them, they have had a chance to absorb them a bit more.

Thankfully this seemed to be the case and in January, the remix will be getting released!

I’m personally incredibly happy with this remix and how it came out, so really happy it’ll see a release!

Interesting remix from Rob. A lot more progressive sounding which I’ve not heard from him for a while. Vocals are the main focus with this one

Quite like the instrumental, it's nice to see a proggy track from Activa for a change (although maybe this would have been a better fit for Solar Movement?). Undecided yet on how the vocal is integrated, it does sound a tad too loud for the soundscape.
