Classic Trance demo on VST Hybrid 3

I was searching YouTube for classic trance sounds for vst’s i have and came accross this brilliant video.

I have a big bundle of the Air stuff that can be now purchased which when made originally came with pro tools, i think around 12 or more years ago. Xpand, and Vacuum pro ( based on a russian analog synth ) i think will be great for classic trance too as I have used these synth a lot a year or 2 ago when i was less good at production.

Anyone know other vst’s great for older trance sounds. Im thinking arturia labs ( i have a lite version) and i also have a cherry audio juno synth which is very good.

I haven’t investigated internal sounds in my new creat8 sampler but it has 3000 so i bet theres a few classic trance patches.

I’ve mentioned the same on another thread on here. Given they still have all their legacy devices on there.
Loads of Trance classics were made on the older versions of Reason.

To answer the OP, the JP6k plugin is a great emulation of the JP8000 synth. Phoscyon 2 for those 303 sounds and U-He Diva is a pretty good all rounder for everything else as it’s based around old analogue hardware emulation.

Does sound nice doesn it. Not really 90's classic but maybe 2005/2006 clean or uplifting stuff (based on his sample). Would be over the moon if most uplifting Trance today had sound design like this honestly!

Yes, a lot of todays mainstream ( ish) trance is missing something is it not, but i did one find some Anjuna playlist on Spotify of their latest music that sounded well retro, but not all was trancey. Think i need to find that playlist.

Just off the top of my head. Loads more by these artists from that time period (I think the majority of them may have moved on to other DAW's by now.)
I'm probably missing a load as well.
