I remember we had this thread on the old place, loved it.

Post your favourite pieces.

This is what I'm listening to now. Just wait for it... What a beautiful piece of music. Short but potent.

Olafur is generally really nice listening. I love the dampened effect he always uses.

Speaking of Olafur, his semi-frequent collaborator Nils Frahm's semi-recent album got a lot of plays from me over the pandemic. Much darker than his usual fare. No Step On Wing is a standout.

Hania Rani's first album feels to me like running across a large field on a sunny winter day. Pretty easy listening but very emotive.

More experimental, "Can Thought Exist Without The Body" has a lot of detail. Highly recommend listening on nice headphones while tripping.

Olafur released another short album/LP last week, "the world is finally quiet".

Not feeling it unfortunately. The best track on this album is a remaster of Only the Winds, a track ~11 years old already. In addition, nyepi (choir version) is stunning actually, quite LotR-ish. Other tracks weren't for me, I think he's done better.
