Honestly, this track has quickly grown into one of the best this year for me. This sound is so authentic, far removed from the generic modern uplifting stuff imo. A true journey with rich sound design. The vocals entirely top it off for me, it somehow manages to turn the instrumentals upside down on themselves.
Such an incredible atmosphere. So rich and unique, very hazy, as though the darkness has a tangible texture. It feels as though I'm naked in the dark, basking in the aftermath of a great achievement, which cost an immense amount of effort.
Release. Surrender. Relief.
Cold Blue has been one of the best for some time now imo, but this track... is even on a new level for him. Wow.
