I heard this somewhat goa-influenced track in the last JOOF Radio episode. Now it is out. I like this quite a lot. Despite not having the greatest BPM, it packs quite a lot of punch.

I just find the beatwork extremely drag & dropped/plastered and lifeless/predictible. Its got a little more energy though, than the usal modern-day joof release. not toooooo bad.

Not just influenced, it was originally made back in 1997. Now given an updated rework from the same artist.

Really digging the goa/breaks original! Not too fond of the remake. A bit too slow and plodding for me.

I actually like the non breaks format of this remake and the general arrangements even though it should have been little more driving. Cant help but miss the warm inviting synths and textures the original has when I listen above. New tracks never seem to deliver that, it's the same old story,. Did they forget? Soes new technology not allow for it? Or do they simply not like that organic touch? I just don't know anymore. Still a solid remake.

It could be that a lot of old goa was cut and mastered from old DAT tapes, giving them that specific sound. And of course that 90s analog gear.

Maybe, but it wasn't just the Goa stuff that had that feeling, it was ALL the old electronic. Yet every-time I interview or chat with producers about this issue they assure me that new technology can do everything old stuff can, that you don't need old gear to create old sounds. Maybe thats true but is it possible harder? It felt like producers jumped into the scene instantly in 90s/Early 00 and everything sounded boss straight away, like they didnt even need much experience. Now it feels like producers try very hard to capture it, most failing. So confusing to me still.

One of the best tracks so far this year for me, even better than the older version

Solid remake but agree with DS regarding the beatwork/percs /BPM
