The apocalyptically titled 'BUT WE DID SURVIVE' is signature DARKSKYE - pensive techno, with a hauntingly melancholic chord sequence, initially reminiscent of Pearl River, had Jenny Greenteeth and Peg Powler taken up residence. BENEATH THE RAFTERS is pure goth trance, flirting with 'the devils chord' tritone via a lizardy riff, cinematic pads, and cold metronomic drums. We've been digging FACTORIA's style of trance for a while now, so we're delighted to have finally bagged him for a remix. And what a job, smashing it out of the stadium with a no bullshit, heads down trance rework of BUT WE DID SURVIVE, while our big man in the capital and go-to-guy for hard n' hairy trance CLAIRE'S ACCESSORIES turns in a sheet-lightning remix of BENEATH THE RAFTERS.
