Those opening 2 tracks from ness are sick. Techno my ass.
Lol fair point, Ness especially gets trancey. The ID at 1 hour in or I threw in my yearmix, heard it in an Adam Pits set first of all places.
I am new to Dub Techno, but I really like the tracks posted here. So I searched a bit myself and found out that the trilogy „1 2 3“ by Pole is said to be a masterpiece in this genre.
I'd say dub spans a wide range of styles, these are IMO a very abstract form of dub and minimal which can be a bit less noob-friendly. If you want another certified dub classic, check out Porter Ricks - Biokinetics from 1996. The first track, Port Gentil, is my favorite and I think the most well-regarded one.
Ofc, the thread has a lot of great places to start as well! Though I think the focus is more on atmospheric and hypnotic techno rather than just solely "dub."
