What a big progressive tribute, takes back in time

Finding it hard to put into words the mix of emotions hitting us right now. It is with great excitement but also heavy-hearts, we announce the official release of our remix of our friend the late Gigi Bezhanishvili aka @evolwaves’ 2009 masterpiece “Name Is The Answer”

From the minute we heard the original track in its “Tune of the week” ASOT debut, it captivated us with its dark vibe, masterfully designed sounds and sophisticated rhythm.

We started this remix years ago as a tribute to the original track. As we gear up for the release Gigi was also pushing for, it's bittersweet. We can still picture flashes of Gigi’s infectious smile, vibing the night we first played it for him over Skype. Gigi, you will live on forever in our minds, and forever be an inspiration to us.

Incredibly grateful to @realcosmicgate, @blackholerecordings and @spinninrecords for their help over the last two years to get this remix officially released on Wake Your Mind Records.

Nice remix. Only heard that he passed away through this post, very sad. Had some great releases back on Reset in the day such as Pull Over / Lotus and Nobody Knows, and even his more big room mainstream tracks like Syrup, Get Down and Inferno were pretty unique and creative. Will be missed for sure
