That's because this song was originally intended to be a remix of Where The Streets Have No Name in memory of his fiancé (who passed away in April 2022), from 2023 onward Brendan continued playing it in his sets but stopped referring to the track as a remix and as an ID instead. Very happy to it released, absolutely gorgeous one.

I wish him all the success and happiness earth has to offer a human. A very good dude. His partner taken too soon, still makes me sad any time I think about it. I remember going to see him at the first theater of the mind show at halcyon in SF. One of their sets of parents were there in VIP to support him. They all looked so happy together.

And this track, is pure factor B-ness. The dude has a way with melody. Damn son, beaut of a track and cool to see it get released.

Everything comes together perfectly, ultra long build-up, male vocal, melody. In my Top 10 for 2024, without a doubt.
