But I like the tune itself. I will just name it "Ferry Corsten - Remember".
Maybe you're right.

Not making things up dude. You can clearly tell from the video based on body language. You can disagree but stop labelling my own views as "weird conspiracy theories".

I don't see him being that uncomfortable with the track either? The atmosphere in that studio is definitely a little awkward, but skimming through the stream that's probably because any person who is not actively DJing doesn't really know what to do (just look at the other SUPERSTRINGS guy who just kinda watches his fellow member do their thing behind the decks).

Why would he dislike his own track that he produced himself.
If it's true that Ferry's the sole composer of the track, then I don't blame him for being unhappy though. Having another artist's name added to my track just for marketing purposes that benefit them would make me dislike the track I made as well.

Its catchy and i like it, but at the same time i find it slightly corny. Especially the diggity thing in the build and second part. If we compare it to ferrys solo stuff in this style from the past it lacks a little bit of detail and carefully put in elements/fx.

I dont know if you’re trolling me or really mean this, but you make it sound like Ferry Corsten is a poor soul who has been forced with a gun to his head to put the name Superstrings on this track and even is forced to put it on his own album. Poor Ferry, not even in control of his own music projects after 30 years of experience.

So to conclude: they are simply a marketing product, not artists.

I hope that SUPERSTRINGS = Ferry + Benno project 🙂
SUPERSTRINGS are labelled as producers on their What Ya Got 4 Me version with Signum, along with Benno, so could very likely be involved in the production of some (or maybe all) their tunes.

Tracks from the Armada labels seem to usually be quite clear about labelling tracks with their co producers. For example RAM’s Smash / Crash EP back in 2013 had RAM & Mark Sherry as a composer on Smash, and RAM & Jordin Post (Juventa) on Crash 🙂

What I meant is that contractual obligations are a thing in the music industry and you as an artist don't always have to agree with everything that happens, even if it's on your own label. That's just how things are sometimes. I'm rationalising here, not sympathising, not defending, and I especially don't think he's a "poor soul" just because one track has a feature artist he doesn't like.
(Rereading this I notice that my point in general is really weak and not that relevant to the conversation, so I'm just gonna say that I was trolling on accident 😅)

Speaking of "forced to put it on his own album", what's with the prices on iTunes lol? Rereleasing albums to expand them after a single isn't anything new (USB by Fred again.. I know from the top of my head) and I'm definitely not complaining about them but being able to buy an entire Ferry album for just 2 bucks is really funny to me lol

It could be nerves or doubt or maybe he is not sure but I don't think it's not nonsense @Freezer or @afterhourpower he does a lot of non verbal gestures. His voice also didn't sound confident but correct me if I am wrong.
